Hello, World! (Again)
I kicked off my first blog almost three years ago with a post about how I wanted to write more. I did that sporadically for a while, trying to figure out what I wanted to write about and who my audience was (nobody, really). More recently, that blog has evolved into more of a “whole family” kind of thing with pictures and stories to go with it. Also, Betsy (my wife) has been posting there more frequently, which is a good thing, but it’s still family stuff. I realized that some of the things I’d been thinking of writing about wouldn’t really fit in the context of that site anymore, and so I decided to do that here. I’m still quite undecided as to exactly what I’ll post here, but, oh well.
As has been my practice in the past, here are some of the details of how the site is put together. The site is manged with WordPress and the layout is based on Mollio. The banner photo is an obviously (and roughly) photoshopped picture of a street sign taken on the UNC campus in Chapel Hill in July 2005. The sign actually says “Cameron Ave”. The photoshopping was done to tweak the UNC logo to be a “CW” in stead of an “NC”.
